Town Hall on the 20th day of June, 1967 at 3:00 p.m.
Present:Chairman Harry Miles; Henry Dannels, Chas. Hix, Howard Stewart.
Also Present: Verne Fanton, Secretary and Dwight Whitney, Larimer County
Planning Consultant.
Absent:R. C. Brodie, Carl Swanson.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on May 16, 1967 and the special meeting held
on May 31, 1967 were read and approved as read.
Chairman Miles announced that it was the unanimous decision of the Commission to
meet in the future at 4:00 p.m.
The Commission took note of a copy of a letter received by the Commission from Mr.
Bill Wyatt, Assistant County Attorney, to Calico, Inc., c/o Mr. Rex Walker, stating
in part that upon receipt of information regarding continued violation of the
County zoning resolution that suit would be commenced to enjoin such violation.
Following a discussion, the Commission stated that the business is now in full
operation and instructed the secretary to inform Larimer County accordingly.
The Commission read and discussed a report and proposal furnished by Mr. Trafton
Bean, dated May 5, 1967, relating to an additional planning study. Mr. Whitney
stated that Larimer County could probably join with the Town in completing a portion
of the proposed study. The Commission decided to!take no further action at this
time until additional information is furnished by Mr. Whitney.
Chairman Miles reported that he had received several complaints regarding a neon
sign installed at Dunraven along Fish Creek Road.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
