Present: Val Bernard, Chairman; R. C. Brodie, Louis Canaiy, Charles Hix, Andy Jones, Joe Connelly^ J. 0. Mall ! Also Present: Verne H. Fanton, Secretary | Absent:N. L. Bartlett and C. M. Hunter Minutes of the regular meeting held on March 21, 1961, read and approved as read. Chairman Val Bernard opened the meeting and stated that the^ Commission would proceed to conduct a Public Hearing regarding re-zoning. The Commission first considered a petition to re-zone the following lots in Grand Estates Addition from existing C-2 Restricted Co^ercial District to R-1 Residential District: Lots 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, ?A, 7B, 8, 45, 27. 37, and 38. -The following persons appeared and spoke in favor oi tne above re-zoning: and all stated that when they purchased their property, they had been informed by the sub-divider that their respective properties were zoned at that time in an R-1 District: {Mr. and Mrs. Foltz,_^s. Cook, Mrs. Day, and Donald Foltz. After reviewing the proposal in detail, Louis Canaiy moved that the Commission approve the 1 proposal as submitted and recommended the Town Board that all of the above zoned from a C-2 District to an R-1 District. J. O.Mall seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. The Commission then proceeded to consider zoning the Lone Pine Acres . Addition together with the First Addition to,Lone Pj^ne ^ores that was rpcentlv annexed to the Town. Mr. E. R. N9 62 I I RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS The secretary reported that certain property owners in Pine Wood Acres Addition had petitioned the Town Board to re—zone their properties in order to permit the keeping of horses on the property for private use. This being in violation of the Zoning Ordinance, the Board referred the matter to the Planning Commission for recommendation. Following a discussion, the Secretary was instructed to present the matter to Mr. Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant, for his recommendation. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded, and carried that the meeting adjourn. Chairman Attest:
