Planning Commission. Meeting held in the Town Hall on the 18th day
of October, 1966, at 4:00 p.m.
Present: Harry Miles, Chairman, Eti Anderson, J. R. Bissell, Jr.,
Ronald C. Brodie, Clarence Gillett, Dale G. Hill, Chas. F.
Hix, J. 0. Mall, Frank McGraw, Howard Stewart, Carl Swanson.
Absent: Cleo Cooprider, Richard Pohly.
REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION
Mrs. Leona Tidd appeared before the Commission and presentedan amended
Carriage Hills, plat of the 4th Filing, Carriage Hills. This plat realigns Whispering
4th Filing Pines Drive at Long View Drive in order to save some large pine trees.
The Commission reviewed the plat and J. 0. Mall moved the plat be approved,
Chas. F. Hix seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously
carried.
LOCAL PLANNING COMMISSION
Planning
A letter dated September 26, 1966, from Mayor Graves was read to the
Local Planning Commission. This letter requested that the Planning
Commission recommend needed types of planning for the Town of Estes Park.
Chairman Miles suggested the individual members bring written suggestions
along this line to the next Planning Commission meeting. It was also
mentioned the Chamber of Commerce and the Beautification Committee might
have some suggestions.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
