Meeting held in the Municipal Building in said Town of Estes Park on the 19th day of July, 2000. Commissioners: Attending: Absent: Also Attending: Carl Henderson, Tamara Jarolimek, Richard S. Putney, Paula Steige, Gerald W. Swank, Al Wasson, Rich Widmer Henderson, Putney, Steige, Swank, and Widmer Jarolimek, Wasson Executive Director Smith, Deputy Town Clerk van Deutekom Chairman Putney called the regular meeting to order at 8:05 a.m. AGENDA There being no objection, the Agenda was approved as presented. MINUTES It was moved and seconded (Widmer/Swank) to approve the June 21, 2000 meeting minutes as presented, and it passed unanimously. FINANCIAL REPORT Finance Officer Vavra presented the June 2000 Cash Flow Report. COMMISSIONER AND COMMITTEE REPORTS None. COMMUNITY COMMENTS None. PROJECT REPORTS/ACTIONS Executive Director’s Report. Executive Director Smith reported the Stanley project is very close to completion. Director Smith and Finance Officer Vavra will begin developing a two-year budget for 2001 and 2002. All Commissioners were invited and encouraged to participate in the monthly radio program held each Thursday at 7:30 a.m. following the regular EPURA meetings. Estes Valley Transportation Alternatives Feasibility Study — Update. Executive Director Smith updated the Board on the transportation study. Project Reports: Executive Director Smith reported that discussions regarding the Tallant Park property will be held Monday, July 24th at 9:30 a.m. with Szymanski/Ray. All Commissioners are invited to attend. Design Studios West (DSW) continues to develop possible options for the West Walkway project (Riverwalk West). A work session may be necessary at the August Board meeting to give DSW guidance on the project. No decisions on the project will be made until input from the business owners can be analyzed. BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO.RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority, July 19, 2000 - Page 2 Chairman Putney commented that the Sunrise Symposia sessions held during the last few months have provided an opportunity to discuss visions for the future and the sustainable community concept. Chairman Putney expressed appreciation to the League of Women Voters and citizens for their participation in these sessions. The Sunrise Symposia sessions will resume again in the fall, most probably in September. There being no further business, Chairman Putney adjourned the meeting at 8:38 a.m. next regular meeting will be August 16, 2000 at 8:00 a.m. The Rebecca van Deutekom, Deputy Town Clerk
