The design work is to be completed by mid-April. Demolition expected complete by April 20th. Construction will be bid April 30th. Because of time constraints, it is requested construction be accomplished in two phases as follows: Phase 1: Curb/gutter and sidewalk along Moraine Avenue; patch-in asphalt over building footprint; stripe lot; floodlights for parking security. Complete by: May 31, 1993. Phase 2: Planters, decorative lights along Moraine Avenue; final grading and paving of lot. Complete: Fall of 1993. The two-phase construction schedule does not entail added cost, and if time permits, will be accomplished in one phase. The asphalt required in Phase 1 will be bid as part of the Town's patching requirements. The existing deteriorated asphalt will be removed in Phase 2 and the lot paved. One entrance/exit will be constructed at the south end of the property. It was moved and seconded (Swank- Henderson) that the schedule as presented be approved, and it passed unanimously.
