MINUTES; Minutes of the September 5, 1991 regular meeting were approved as prepared. LIAISON: The next Town/EPURA joint meeting is scheduled for Thursdav October 10, 1991 at 8:00 A.M. AUTHORITY BUSINESS; Museum Request for Funds - Director Swain reported that, followina a work sessj^n this morning in which the Board reviewed samples of historic site plaques, the Board's preference is a metal-backed bronze in color. Estimated cost of the plaques located in 1S ^.3'000.* .It was moved and seconded (Swank-Ericson) EsLr?^vaA^ee PriI^clPle' to ente^ into negotiations with the Estes Park Area Historical Museum for the establishment of these historic plaques, and it passed unanimously. Director Swain was requested to pursue advertising the walking tour in thral^eadv existing Town brochures. Commissioner Godbolt questioned whether Saf. f.und the ongoing cost of producing a brochure which depicted the historic sites. The Board agreed ^ to become Park1Ved Wlth the funding of a poster portraying historic Estes 1992tdraft ~ °irector Anderson presented and explained the ^4! iyhfreuPon It was moved and seconded (Ericson- Godbolt) the draft budget be accepted, and it passed unanimously. Educatfnnn&L C°Pc^fns 7 chairinan Pauley noted the American Honda Education Association is considering locating its facility in the Estes Park area and suggested the Board encourage the AssLiation inrnito/?HSldera^^0n.-°f this area* Commissioner Klaphake discussed some of the ramifications of the Association's potential Estes Park area location. It was moved and seconded (Swank-Godbolt) the EPURA A™Sff4--a letter of. encouragement to the American Honda Association, recommending they establish a presence in the Estes Park area, and it passed by the following votes: Those voting Yes: ommissioners Ericson, Godbolt, Swank. Those voting No: None. Those Abstaining: Commissioner Klaphake. Motion carried. BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO.RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority - September 19, 1991 - Page 2 STAFF Director Anderson requested a special meeting on Thursday, September 26, 1991 at 8:00 A.M. for the purpose of adjourning to Executive Session to discuss negotiation strategy with respect to potential property acquisition, and the Board concurred. Director Anderson will attend the Boulder Pedestrian Conference beginning October 3, 1991. There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Pauley adjourned the meeting.
