Chairman Pauley called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM.
Minutes of the July 19, 1990 meeting were approved as prepared.
COMMUNICATIONS
!) An invitation to EPURA from the Estes Valley Public
Library District to attend the August 22nd Estes Park Public
Library groundbreaking ceremonies.
2) A letter thanking EPURA for its assistance in installing
the new playground equipment at East Riverside Park.
LIAISON
A Town/EPURA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 1990 at 7:00 AM. j/ y /
The Continental Oil Parking Lot will be overlayed this Fall.
AUTHORITY BUSINESS
Broken Branch Tree Farms,—Inc._- Change Order - It was moved and
(Ericson“Godt)olt) a change order in the amount of
9 /111.10 for Broken Branch Tree FarmS/ Inc. be approved. Motion carried.
Hestern Mobile - Change Order - It was moved and seconded (Hondius-
Ericson) a change order in the amount of $4,538.00 to Western
Mobile be approved, withholding $500.00 of this amount, pending
completion of the project. Motion carried. y
R. C. Heath Construction Company - Change Order - it was moved and
l?C?^nenn (^0dbT50lt"H0ndiUS) that Change 0rder #3 in the amount of
$2,540.00 for R. c. Heath Construction Company be approved. Motion carried.
Co^issioner Pohl suggested the riverwalk be publicly identified
and advertised as a ,,I^easured,, walkway.
STAFF
The pedestrian bridge across Black Canyon Creek will be installed today.
East Corridor Riverwalk completion is scheduled for early
September, followed by landscape completion in mid-September.

Staff solicited bids from USA Construction, Inc. and Rocky Mountain
Lawn Care regarding utility undergrounding from the East Riverside
Park restrooms to the lightpole by the brown building on East
Riverside Drive.

It was moved and seconded (Klaphake-Ericson) staff proceed to
contract with Rocky Mountain Lawn Care for trenching and
installation of electrical conduit at this location, at a not-to-
exceed cost of $4,250.00. Motion carried. Planner Joseph will
apprise Police Chief Racine of this project.
Commissioner Pohl and Director Anderson met with Mr. Nelson Thomas
and Mr. Jim White/Estes Park Rotary Club to discuss future Mountain
Legacy Collectible sales by Rotary. Messrs. Thomas and White will
meet with the Rotary Board to review a possible long-range sales
program, by Rotary, of these collectibles.
There being no further business. Chairman Pauley adjourned the
meeting at 9:00 AM.
