AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1.20.020
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK
REGARDING FINES AND PENALTIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Section 1.20.020 of the Municipal Code shall be amended to read as
follows:
1.20.020 Fines and penalties
(a)Any person who shall be convicted of a violation of this Code shall be fined an
amount not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00).Where any violation
is a continuing offense,each day that the violation continues shall be
considered and held to be a separate and distinct offense.
(b)The Town Board,by ordinance,may establish costs,including surcharges,to
be assessed by the Municipal Judge for specified violations of the Municipal
Code.
Section 2.This Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced thirty (30)days after its
adoption and publication
