ORDINANCE NO.7-03
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.08
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO,THE SAME
PERTAINING TO STANDING COMMITTEES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Chapter 2.08 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes
Park,Colorado,shall be amended as follows:
2.08.010 Committees.At the first regular meeting following each biennial
election,the mayor shall appoint three trustees to the following standing committees:
community development,public safety,public works and utilities.
Section 2.The following standing committee of the Town of Estes Park is
abolished:light and power.
Section 3.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,
herewith finds,determines and designates that this Ordinance is necessary in order to
immediately restructure the committees;and whereas,in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees,an emergency exists,this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately after its passage,adoption and signature of the Mayor.
