AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
THE ESTES VALLEY DEVELOPMENT CODE
TO REZONE THE HABITAT SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS,the Estes Valley Planning Commission has recommended rezoning of the
Habitat Subdivision from R-2 Two-Family Residential Zoning District to R-1 Single-Family
Residential Zoning District;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park has determined that it is in the
best interest of the Town that the recommended zoning change be granted.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1:The zoning for the Habitat Subdivision to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado
shall be changed from R-2 Two-Family Residential District to R-1 Single-Family Residential Zoning
District.
Section 2:The adoption of this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an emergency in
order to immediately allow for the development of the Property;and
WHEREAS,in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists,this Ordinance
shall take effect and be enforced immediately after its passage,adoption and signature of the
Mayor.
