BRANDING IRON MOTOR INN SIGN;
Mr. Maynard H, Dirks, owner of the Branding Iron Motor Inn, appeared
before the Board of Adjustment to request a variance to the Municipal
Code as it pertains to signs, Mr. Dirks requested that a two foot set
back be allowed from the front property line in lieu of an eight foot
setback. &
Member Wagner moved that the request for a variance be denied and that
Mr. Dirks be given six months from this date (January 16, 1974) to
bring the sign into conformance. Member Palmer seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
CONTINENTAL OIL COMPANY:
Mr. William Milne, Jr,, Division Engineer, Continental Oil Company,
appeared before the Board to request a variance to the Municipal Code

plan IS made a part of these proceedings.

1, That a screening design be prepared by Continental Oil
Company showing the proposed screening and landscaping
of the entire bulk station. This design will be subject
to the approval of the Board of Adjustment.
2, The Continental Oil Company shall submit a design for the
warehouse building and this design shall be subject to the
approval of the Board of Adjustment,

No signs shall be erected.
This variance shall expire in four months from this date
unless a building permit is issued and construction begun.
