Board of Adjustment
May 6, 1971

Also Attending: Town Administrator Hill and Building Inspector Mowery
Mr. Del Schroeder, owner of the A & W Root Beer, submitted a request for
a variance to the Municipal Code, Section 12-10-2. Mr. Schroeder re
quested the 8' set back be set aside and he be allowed a 4' set back
from the front property line for the purpose of installing a iron fence
around a picnic area.
Member Dannels moved that the request be denied and that the 8' set back
as required be enforced.
Board Member Brownfield -seconded the motion and upon roll the motion
unanimously carried.
Mrs. Gladys Swain, owner of lot 17 White Meadow View Place, appeared before
the Board and requested a variance from the Municipal Code, Section 12-9-2.
The side yard set back as required is 10'. Mrs. Swain requested that a 41
set back be allowed. This request is to allow a garage to be remodeled
into a residence.
The Board of Adjustment suggested that Mrs. Swain investigate the possibility
of moving this building to the proper set back.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

approved by the board of adjustments,

to go over the plans, at their earliest convenience.

should do.
