Absent:Member Carl R. Swanson
Slides, Inc. appeared before the Board of Adjustment and asked permission
to install a recreational fiber glass slide, 40' high and 166' long on
the southerly portion of Lot 2, Lee and Alps Addition to the Town of Estes
Park, Colorado. Parking for sixty vehicles will be provided and if add
itional parking is needed the owner will make necessary arrangements.
As required by Section 12.9-1 (3) of the Municipal Code,Board Member
Dannels moved that the Board of Adjustment finds and determines that the
unusual noise, smoke, light, traffic, or other hazards will not result
from such use to the detriment of residents within the surrounding area
and the Board of Adjustment does further determine that such use will
not violate the general spirit of this ordinance. Board Member Steele
seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion passed by the follow
ing votes. Those voting "Yes" Members Dannels, Steele, Sutter and Palmer.
Those voting "No" none.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
