ART COLLECTION POLICY - APPROVAL. Director Stamey submitted the final draft of the Visual Collection Policy. The policy provides a framework for decisions relating to acceptance and acquisition of public of Trustees. The Committee recommends approval of the policy, as submitted, commenting that any potential amendments to thi policy would be considered by this Committee. Members of the Committee attended a meeting with J‘stes. S center Ld the Colorado Council of the ArtSi and Humanities The meeting was very informative. Initiate contact with major media networks and bureaus. 6. Begin developing and soliciting potential markets for groups that will utilize the conference center. Director Pickering is compiling of list of properties for refer­ ence by actually inspecting the properties and visiting with the owners. Numerous groups have expressed an interest in booking the conference center. Staff will begin compiling information for the 1990-91 marketing plan, and creating an effective public relations/press release program. The Committee commended Marketing Director Pickering for the thorough report. REPORTS.
