WHEREAS,Mark Elrod served the citizens of Estes Park as Trustee
of the Town of Estes Park from 2010 to 2014;and
WHEREAS,Mark has served the community of Estes Park in
numerous capacities including as a member of the Estes Park Medical Center
Foundation,and as a member of the Supporters of the Performing Arts
Building and Design Committee;and
WHEREAS,during his tenure as Trustee,Mark facilitated the revision,
approval,increase,establishment,improvement,and/or implementation of the
following:
Comprehensive Plan Update
Collaborated with Rocky Mountain National Park to establish seasonal
shuttle bus service
Transportation Plan Support
Fairgrounds Park-n-Ride Construction
Real Time Passenger Information System at Park-n-Ride
Stanley Park Fairgrounds Master Plan Implementation
Grandstands at Stanley Park Fairgrounds
Support the goals of the Estes Park Housing Authority
Bond Park Master Plan
Adoption of 2009 International Building Codes
Adoption of Skills-Based Building Contractor Licensing
Prospect Avenue Bypass Reconstruction
Support Performing Arts Center
Evolution of the Local Marketing District
Support of an Economic Development Initiative
Capital Asset Management Plan
Support for the Visitor Center Parking Structure Project
Museum /Senior Center Master Plan
Construction of Pavilion and Event Center at Stanley Park Fairground
FLAP Grant Project for Downtown roadway realignment
Moraine Avenue Pedestrian Improvements
flood Recovery Efforts and Flood Plain Regulations
Community Wellness Center Support
Sales Tax Initiative Support;and
WHEREAS,Mark served on the following groups/committees:
Community Development /Community Services Committee,and as liaison to
the Estes Valley Planning Commission.

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board
of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,by this Resolution and Public Record,
recognize the dedication and leadership of Mark Elrod and express profound
appreciation for his service to our community.
