RESOLUTION OF RESPECT
WHEREAS,Doria Eiseniauer served the citizens of Estes Park as
Trustee of the Town of Estes Park from 2006 to 2010;and
WHEREAS,Doria served the community of Estes Park in numerous
capacities including as a member of the Ambassadors,friends of the Library,
:Rocky Mountain National Park Information Office,Convention and Visitors
Bureau Marketing Advisory Board Member,Woman’s Club,Newcomers Club;
and
WHEREAS,during her tenure as Trustee,Doria facilitated the
revision,approval,increase,establishment,improvement,and/or
implementation of the following:
Formation of a Local Marketing District
Collaborated with Rocky Mountain National Park to establish seasonal shuttle
bus service
Support Transportation Plan
Continued Implementation of Stanley Park fairgrounds Master Plan
Support the goals of the Estes Park Housing Authority
Provided loan to the Estes Park Housing Authority to purchase the Pines
Apartment for affordable senior housing
Bond Park Master Plan
Partnered with Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority to build new grandstands at
Stanley Park fairgrounds
Expansion of the Marys Lake Water Treatment Plant
Upgrades to the Marys Lake Substation and distribution system
Prospect Avenue bypass reconstruction
Feasibility of fire District and/or fee for Service and the creation of a Fire
District Task Force
Support Performing Arts Center
Evolution of the CVB
Develop plans for a Multi Purpose Event Center at Stanley Park Fairgrounds
Aid in the Acquisition of Hermit Park by the Larimer County Open Lands
Program;and
WHEREAS,Doria served on the following groups/committees:Public
Safety Committee Chair,Community Development Committee,Supporters of
the Performing Arts Liaison,Roofiop Rodeo Liaison,and Fire District Task
force.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board
of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,by this Resolution and Public Record,
recognize the dedication and leadership of Doria Eiseniauer and express
profound appreciation for her service to our community
