RESOLUTION OF RESPECT
WHEREAS,Wendell Amos has served the community of
Estes Park in numerous capacities for the past 24 years;and
WHEREAS,Wendell served on the Board of Directors of the
Estes Valley Improvement Association,the Estes Valley Land Trust,
the Estes Park Planning Commission,the Larimer County Planning
Commission,Habitat for Humanity,and the Tree Board;and
/
WHEREAS,Wendell also actively participated in the Estes
Park Noon Rotary Club,the Knights of the Belt Buckle,Estes Park
Community Resources Center,and the Rockwood Estates Property
Owners Association;and
WHEREAS,during his service to the community,Wendell
facilitated the revision,approval,increase,establishment,
improvement,and/or implementation of the following:
Estes Valley Development Code
Formation of the Library District
Grants and funding sources for Habitat for Humanity
Designation of approximately 9,000 acres of open space in the
Estes Valley protected by the Estes Valley Land Trust
Development of Legacy Land Trust
Capital campaign for Crossroads Ministry
Capital campaign for Estes Valley food Bank
Building Project for Salud family Health Center
Tree Inspection Program
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor
and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,by this Resolution
and Public Record,recognize the dedication and leadership of
Wendell Amos and express profound appreciation for his service to
our community.
