HomeMy WebLinkAboutPROCLAMATION Young, Ray 2016-08-280’.’0 frLLQGJ,t €te arft,(!Lotorabo to clamatto IT WHEREAS,for 75 years Ray Young has entertained countless thousands of people with the rich sound of organ and piano music;and WHEREAS,75 years ago,Ray’s mother declared that his legs were long enough to reach the organ pedals;and WHEREAS,Ray has continued to celebrate and share his lifelong fascination with the organ and piano;and WHEREAS,Ray has played on some of the largest pipe organs ever made;and WhEREAS,Ray has established a stellar reputation throughout the Midwest as an accomplished organist and pianist;and WhEREAS,Ray has inspired multiple generations of people with his gifts by playing in churches,at Nicky’s Steak House,and in many other venues. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park do hereby acknowledge August 28,2016,as RAY YOUNG DAY In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused this seal to be affixed.
