HomeMy WebLinkAboutPROCLAMATION Young Interact Club 2014-02-25Qti ark,Qrotorabo to clamatto II ‘WHEREAS,the Young Interact Club sponsored by the Longs Peak Rotary Club of Estes Park was founded in September 2013;and ‘WHEREAS,the Young Interact Club membership is comprised of Estes Park Middle School students in grades six through eight;and ‘TIIEREAS,the Young Interact Club’s mission is to serve Estes Park Middle School through a commitment to the Estes Park Community,as well as through International programs and humanitarian causes;and MTHEREAS,the Young Interact Club will operate in partnership with the High School Interact Club,the three Rotary clubs in the Estes Valley,and Rotary International;and ‘WHEREAS,Young Interact Club is based on Rotary International’s “Four Way Test”.Club members apply the Four Way Test in their daily decision making by asking: Is it the Truth? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOOD WILL and BE1’TER FRIENDSHIP? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park recognize the participation of Estes Park Middle School students in the Young Interact Club and their contributions to the community.
