Whereas,Jan ntoring Month;and
Whereas,the theme of 2005 is “Thank Your Mentor;
and
Whereas,Partners Mentoring of Estes Park fosters life
enhancing mentor relationships between adult and
youth volunteers;and
Whereas,citizens of Estes Park have been mentoring
through Partners since 1996;and
Whereas,Partners acknowledges the inherent value of all youth and
mentors to think of their future as a world of opportunity;to realize
their dreams;and to develop a sense of responsibility to their
community and for future generations;and
Whereas,MENTORING MATTERS.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED we,the Mayor and Town
Trustees of Estes Park do hereby proclaim January 2005 as
THANK YOUR MENTOR MONTH
in the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,and urge all members of the
community to recognize the importance of mentoring and the
contribution of many of our local residents to Partners Mentoring of
Estes Park within the Town of Estes and in the Estes Valley.
