WHEREAS,Ann Taylor has owned and operated
Colorado Homestead,along with her husband Steve
and daughter Cindy,which opened in 2002,and is
well known for Steve’s Annual Halloween front
window live performance;and
WHEREAS,Ann instills a passion to give back to the
community,to other citizens,as well as her daughter
Cindy,who participates on the Rooftop Rodeo Volunteer
Committee;and
WhEREAS,Ann,since 2007,has acted as Community
Sponsor Chairman of the “Cowboy Sing Along”With Cowboy
Brad Fitch,and each year solicits sponsorships and door
prizes for Brad’s performances,which draws tourists,as well
as Community citizens weekly;and
WHEREAS,Ann has worked for the Estes Park Post Office,
driving $6 miles daily to Denver,to ensure that USPS patrons of
Estes Park and Allenspark are well served;and
WHEREAS,during the 2013 Flood,Ann drove 200 miles round trip
every day for months in service of the USPS to ensure mail was
delivered to the Estes Park Post Office in a timely fashion.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park do hereby recognize,
Ann Taylor
And do herby find it an honor and distinct pleasure to present this
Proclamation in recognition of her many contributions and the joy she has
brought to the Town of Estes Park.
