WHEREAS,the Board of Directors of the Estes Valley Memorial Gardens has
completed two years of service to the community;and
WHEREAS,the voluntary Board Members have faithfully served in this community
enterprise;and
WHEREAS,the Memorial Gardens Cemetery is supported by the purchase of burial
plots,memorials,and contributions;and
WHEREAS,over two-hundred persons have purchased burial plots and requested
memorials;and
WHEREAS,a Living History Garden,a Ponderosa Grove,a road and service
building have been completed;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Directors and the participating families need help in
this community enterprise.
NOW,THEREFORE,I,George J,Hix,Mayor ProTem of the Town of Estes Park,
1’Colorado,am pleased to prociathi the month of August
•“MEMORIAL GARDENS MONTH”
in Estes Park,and urge businesses,organizations,and citizens to assist in this
community enterprise,
