WHEREAS,The Estes Park Satud Family Health Center
has been an important part of Estes Park and the
surrounding areas by providing access to quality,
comprehensive primary health care to medically
underserved families since 1992;and
WHEREAS,The Salud Family Health Center is a vital
component in the health care system of the Estes
community;and
WHEREAS,The Estes Park Salud Family Health Center enables all
families in the Estes community to have access to on going quality
health care irrespective of their financial means;and
WHEREAS,The Estes Park Salud Family Health Center has broken
ground for a new health facility that will provide greater access to
dental and mental health services in addition to primary medical
care;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Mayor and Roard of
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park proclaim March 5-11,2006 as
ESTES PARK SALUD FAMILY HEALTH CENTER WEEK
in the Town of Estes Park,Colorado and all citizens of the community are
encouraged to recognize and support the important contributions of the
Estes Park Salud Family Health Center to the improvement of the health and
general ‘ajiyof life of the citizens in the Estes Valley.
