HomeMy WebLinkAboutPROCLAMATION Estes Park Hispanic Heritage Day 2002-09-15tt ark,(otorabo o clamatto II WHEREAS,we the citizens of Estes Park recognize the great contributions and profound impact Hispanics and their descendants have had on American history and culture,and WHEREAS,we also recognize that any city or country is made stronger through its cultural diversity,and WHEREAS,we also acknowledge indebtedness to the Hispanic business owners and workers,whose great work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit help to drive the Estes Park and American economies,and; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park proclaim September 15,2002 as ESTES PARK HISPANIC HERITAGE DAY an official day to honor the Hispanic community of Estes Park for their contributions to our city and culture.All citizens are urged to honor this day by joining a community celebration Sunday,September 15,2002 at Stanley Park/Pavilion,3:00 PM tilt 7:00 PM,as we honor the Hispanic community of Estes Park.
