WHEREAS the Town of Estes Park understands and
desires to have cultural awareness and diversity as a
mainstay to what it offers its residents.
WHEREAS the Town of Estes Park supports and
declares it appropriate to celebrate the Chinese New
Year 4702 and encourages our residents to do
likewise.
WHEREAS the Town of Estes Park and the Cultural Arts
Council is committed to bringing residents from all
countries of this world together for the cultural
enhancement of Estes Park.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park proclaim February 9,
2005 as
CHINESE NEW YEAR 4702
in the Town of Estes Park,and announce this Proclamation to all
residents of Estes Park and the State of Colorado.
