RESOLUTION OF RESPECT

WHEREAS,Chelsi Rose,the daughter of Eric and Lori Rose,
has been successful in pageantry as Miss Colorado,while also
remaining active in her community and maintaining honor roll status
at Estes Park High School;and
WHEREAS,Chelsi Rose,competed in the Miss Colorado High
School pageant in Loveland,Colorado,and was crowned Miss
Colorado High School America 2011.In March of 2011,Chelsi
competed in the Miss High School America in San Antonio,Texas
where she placed in the prestigious top 15;and

WHEREAS,Chelsi Rose is a young woman who personifies
integrity,honesty,sincerity,high moral standards,leadership,poise,
personal appearance,award-winning public speaking abilities,
communication and interview skills,and an avid interest in broadcast
journalism;and
WHEREAS,Chelsi Rose has worked as a volunteer in various
capacities of community service which include Rotary,Interact Club
(Youth Rotary),Blue Santa,Compassion International,and her own
charity “Chelsi’s Choice;”and
WHEREAS,Chelsi has attended the Rotary Youth Leadership
Conference,where she will return as a junior counselor in 2012,and
Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots Leadership Conference to further
develop her leadership and communication skills as she prepares to
enter college for a double major in broadcast journalism and political
science;and
WHEREAS,Chelsi continues to serve as a role model for
youth in our community and throughout the nation,by serving as an
officer for Interact,and by being active in cheerleading,baseball
management,swimming,honor choir,golf,and as a photographer
and writer for the Estes Park High School newspaper and yearbook.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,by this Resolution and
Public Record,recognize the contribution of Chelsi Rose by proudly
representing our community and promoting national awareness of
Estes Park during her reign as Miss Colorado High School America.
