RESOLUTION Of RESPECT
WHEREAS,Robert B.Joseph,has served the citizens of
Estes Park in numerous capacities from 1984 through 2010;and
WHEREAS,in 1984 Bob gained employment with the
Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority as a Landscape Architect.
In 1991,he transferred to the Town of Estes Park as Special
Projects Manager,and in 1994 was promoted to Senior Planner.
In 2001,Bob was named Community Development Director
and has served in that capacity since;and
WHEREAS,throughout his career,Bob was nominated
multiple times for the Employee of the Year Award,and received
numerous incentive and merit awards for exemplary work;and
WHEREAS,during his tenure,Bob participated in many
projects significant to development within the Estes Valley
including the following:
•Stanley Park Master Plan
•Bond Park Master Plan
•Transportation Planning
•International Building Code Adoptions
•Countless Estes Valley Land Use Issues
WHEREAS,Bob served as the primary advisor to the
Estes Valley Planning Commission and the Board of Adjustment;
and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners,
and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor
and Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,by this
Resolution and Public Record,recognize the dedication and
leadership of Robert B.Joseph during his tenure with the Town
and express profound appreciation for his service to our
community
