RESOLUTION47-21APPROVINGAMEMORANDUMOFUNDERSTANDINGBETWEENTHETOWNOFESTESPARKANDHEADWATERSECONOMICS,INC.REGARDINGPARTICIPATIONINTHECOMMUNITYPLANNINGASSISTANCEFORWILDFIRE(CPAW)PROGRAMWHEREAS,theTownhasappliedfor,andhasbeenselectedtoreceive,technicalassistancefromHeadwatersEconomics,Inc.,throughitsCPAWprogram,onthesubjectofwildfirehazardplanningandrisk-reduction;andWHEREAStheTownandHeadwatersEconomics,Inc.havedevelopedamemorandumofunderstandingwhichoutlinestherolesandresponsibilitiesofeachparty,alongwithspecificobjectivesforthepartnership;andWHEREAS,theTownBoardwishestoenterintoamemorandumofunderstandingreferencedinthetitleofthisresolutionforthepurposeofvoluntaryparticipationintheCPAWprogram,forwhichthereisnocosttoparticipate.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFTRUSTEESOFTHETOWNOFESTESPARK,COLORADO:TheBoardapproves,andauthorizestheMayortosign,thememorandumofunderstandingreferencedinthetitleofthisresolutioninsubstantiallytheformnowbeforetheBoard.DATEDthisdayofATTEST:TwClerkAPOVED2021.TOWNOFESTESPARKASTOFORM:TownAttorney
