ANNUAL APRCPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR TIlE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING APRIL 1,1938 .ND ENDING MARCH 31,1939.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF Ti-rE TCVN OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That out of the moneys and revenues to be derived
from the collection of general taxes during the year 1938 and evied
by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estee Park,Colorado,on all
taxable property within the corporate limits of said Town for the
year 1938 in the total amount of ii&mills on each dollar of assessed
valuation of said property,which collections are estimated at
$11,108.34,and from the moneys derived from the general and mis
cellaneous revenues durinE the year 1938 and estimated at 9,935.OO,
making a total estimated amount to be derived from taxes,general
and miscellaneous revenues and cash on hand in the sum of $21,043.34,
there is hereby aporopriated for the fiscal year beginning April 1st,
1938 and ending Larch 31st,1939,the following amounts for the following
respective purposes,to—wit:
GENERAL FUND
General Government 1,945.00
Police Department 2,700.00
Health 200.00
Sanitation 4,150.00
Highways 9,848.34
Contingent 900.00
Capital Fund 1,300.00
Total $21,043.34
Section 2.That out of the moneys and revenues to be derived
from the operation of the Town of Estee Park Municipal Water System
during the year 1938,estimated at $13,650.00,there is hereby
appropriated the following amounts for the following respective
purposes,to—wit:
Salary of Superintendent 2,100.00
Wages 1,000.00
Office Expense 700.00
Supplies &Materials 1,000.00
Automobile Expense 450.00
Bond Interest 2,475.00
Plant Investment 3,425.00
Bond Redemption 2,500.00
Total $13,650.00
Section 3.The Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines
and declares that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate
vreservation of the public peace,health and safety,and whereas
in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists,this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its final
passage and adoption.

Amendment to Ordinance No.62,entitled;“An ordinance to create the
office of dairy and milk inspector and define his duties;provide for the
licensing and control of producers,handlers and distributors of milk and milk
products;define milk and milk products and the terms to be used in connection
with production,handling and distribution of milk;set standards of quality for
milk and provide penalties for violation.”which ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,on the
25th day of July,A.D.1932.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOYwN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 2 of Article 3 of Ordinance No.62 of the
Towii of Estes Park,passed and adopted the 25th day of July,A.0.1932,be
and the same is hereby amended as follows:
By striking the last sentence from said Section 2,which sentence
so stricken reads as follows:“This section shall be construed to apply only
to those producers who keep more than one cow and deliver milk or cream for
fluid consumption.”
