AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOWN OF
ESTES PARK,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL FIRST,A.D.1935.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF E3TES PARK,COLORADO.
Section 1.That for the purpose of defraying the expenses and
liabilities of the Town of Estos Park,Colorado,for the fiscal year
beginning April 1st,1935,the following names sums are hereby appropriated
out of the revenues of said Town,for the purpose hereinafter designated,
to—wit:
STREET AND AL1Y FUND:Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (*5,500.00)
for maintenance,repair and improvements of the streets,alleys,avenues
and ditches of the Town and for the payment of the salary of the street
supervisor and other employees of the street department.
SEWER FUND:Two Thousand Two Bundred Fifty (*2,250.00)
or such an amount thereof as shall be found necessary for the maintenance
and improvement of sewer system.
PUBLIC BUILDINGS FUND:Eight Hundred Fifty Eight ($858.00)
or such an amount thereof as shall be found necessary for the maintenance
and improvement of public buildings.
CONTINGENT FUND:Two Thousand Eight Hundred Ninty Five Dollars ——(*2,895.00)
for the purjose of paying any expense or liability of the Town of E5tos Park,
not herein otherwise provided for,provided that if the entire
amount of this contingent fund shall not be required for such purpose,
the remainder thereof shall be placed to the credit of any other fund or
funds as may be deemed necessary in the discretion of the Board of Trustees
of the Town.
FIRE DEPARTMENT FUND:Two Hundred Dollar f 200.00)
for the purpose of purchasing fire equi)ment and maintenance of equipment
of this department and for such other purposes as willimprove the
operation of the department.
Section 2.FOR THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK
MUNICIPAL WATER PLANT THE FOLLOWING NIMED SUMS ARE HEREBY APPROPRIATED
of the revenues of said Municipal Water Plant,for the fiscal year beginning
April 1st,1935,for the purpose hereinafter designated,to—wit:
INTEREST ON REFUNDING TOWN OF ESTES PARK WATER BONDS Series of 1929:
Two Thousand Eight Hundred Twelve Dollars and 50/100 (*2,812.50)
REDEMPTION OF REFUNDING TOWN OF ESTES PARK WATER BONDS Series of 1929:
Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars (*2,500.00)
OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE MUNICIPAL WATER PLANT:
Four Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars -($4,800.00)
or such an amount thereof as shall be found necessary for the maintenance
and improvement of said Municipal Water Plant.
Section 3.This ordinance is hereby termed to be the annual appropriation
bill for the next fiscal year,commencing on the first day of April,1935 and
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
heQlth and safety and in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency
exists;Therefore,this ordinance shall take effect immediately after its
final passage and publication.
Section 4.The reasons why this ordinance is thus necessary are that it
is intended to provide for the expenses of saintenance of said Town arid to provide
for the protection of the peace,health and safety of the inhabitants of the Town.
INTRODUCED,BEAD,PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of October,A.D.,1934.
