AN ORDINA!CE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE
TOfN OF ETES PARK,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING APRIL FIRST,A.D.l9X.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO.
Section 1.That for the purpose of defraying the expenses and
liabilities of the Town of Estee Park,Colorado,for the fiscal year
beginning April let,1930,the following named sums are hereby appro
priated out of the revenues of said town,for the purpose hereinafter
designated,to—wit:
STREET AND ALLEY FUND:Six thousand Dollars ($6,000.00)
for maintenance,repair and improverents of the streets,alleys,avenues
and ditches of the Town and for the payment of the salary of the street
supervisor and other employees of the street department.
SEVER FUND:Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00)
or such an amount as shall be found necessary for the maintenance and
improvement of the sewer system and for the payment of interest and
principal on outstanding sewer bonds.
PUBLIC BUILDING FUND:Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00)
or such an amount thereof as shall be found necessary for the maintenance
and improvement of public buildings.
CONTINGENT FUND:Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00)
for the purpose of paying any expense or liability of the Town of Estee
Park,not herein otherwise provided for,provided that if the entire
amount of this contingent fund shall not be required for such purpose,
the remainder thereof shall be placed to the credit of any other fund or
funds as may be deemed necessery in the discretion of the Board of Trustees
of the Town.
FIRE DEPARTMENT FUND:Two Hundred Dollars f$2C0.O0 )
for the purpose of purchasing fire equipment and maintenance of equipment
of this department.
Section 2.FOR THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE TOWN CF ESTES PARK
MUNICIPAL WATER PLANT the following named sums are hereby appropriated out
of the revenues of said Municipal Water Plant,for the fiscal year beginning
April 1st,1930,for the purpose hereinafter designated,to—wit:
INTEREST ON REFUNDING TOWN OF ESTES PARK WATER BONDS Series of 1929:
Three thousand three hundred seventy five Dollars (*3,375.00)
REDE1PTION OF REFUNDING TOWN OF ESTES PARK WATER BONDS Series of
1929:Two thousand five hundred Dollars ($2,500.00)
OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE MUNICIPAL WATER PLANT:Four thousand
three hundred seventy Dollars ($4,370.00)
Section 3.This ordinance is hereby termed to be annual appropriation
bill for the next fiscal year,commencing on the first day of April,1930,
an3 this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the pub].ic
peace,health and safety and in the opinion ot the Board of Trustees an
emergency exists;therefore,this ordinance shall take effect immediately
after its final passage and publication.
Section 4.The reasons why this ordinance is thus necessary are that it
is intended to provide for the expenses of maintenance of said Town and to
provide for the protection of the peace,health and safety of the inhabitants
of the Town.
