ORDINANCE NO._.
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE USE OF FIRE ARMS
AND EXPLOSIVES IN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK.
BE IT ORThUITED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOJi OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Any person,who shall,in the Town of Estes
Park,discharge any cannon or fire arms of any kind,or in any
manner cause to explode any gun powder,blasting powder,dynamite,
cannon crackers,fire crackers,blank cartridges,fire works or
j other dangerous explosive,without permission from the Board of
Trustees or Mayor,which permission shall limit the time of firing,
.and iich may be revoked by the Board of Trustees or the Mayor
at any time,shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 2.Any person violating this ordinance shall be
fined in any sum not less than Five (,,5.OO)Dollars and not torexceedThreeHundred(.300.00)Dollars.
Section 3.This ordinance is hereby held and found to
be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.

Colorado,hereby acknodedges itself indebted anr
to pay to bearer
ONE HtflTDR DOLLaRS (ioo.oo)
for value received,redeerable at the option of said Town
after ten (10)years,and absolutely due and payable fifteen
(15)ycrs from the date hereof,with interest thereon at the
rate of six per centun per annum,payable semi—annually,on
the first day of Decenber and the first day of June in each
year upon p’3Catiofl and surrender of the annexed coupons
as they severally become c’ue,both principal and interest payable
at the office of The Estos Park Bank,of Estee Park,Colorado,
or at holder’s option,at the office of The Uanover National
Bank in the City of New York,U.S.A.
Both the principal of this bond and the inderest thereon
are hereby made payable in gold coin of the United States of
Ameerica of the present standard of vieiht and fineness,or the
equivalent thereof,at the holder’s option.
This bond is issued by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estee
Park for the purpose of constructing sewers for the Town,under the
authority of and in f-’19 confonity with the Constitution of the
State of Colorado,the provisions of an act of the tenea1
Aseenljl:r cof,entitled,“An Act in Relation to ::unic±pal
Corportions”,a’prcved April 4th,A.’.1877,an’all amendatory
and supplemental acts thereto,and under the authority of a vote
of such duly qualified electors of s’•d Tow-n as were taxpayers
under the law at an election duly called and legally held on the
second day of April,L..1918,and in ursice of an
ordinance of sid Tcnu duly adopted,pubiised and made a law
of s’,id Town arior to the issuane of this bond;and it is hereby
recited and certified that all the reçuircne’ts of law have
been fully complied with,by the proper officials in the issue
of this bond.
It is further certified that provision has been made for the
levy and collection of an annual tax sufficient to pay the
interest on this hand and also the principal thereof when the
sne become due.
The faith and credit of the Town of Estes Prk are hereby pledged
for the punctual payment of the prinsiral of this bond and the
interest thereon.
IN TESTIUNY .‘.‘HERF,The Board of Trustees of
the Town of Estee Park has caused this bond to be signed by the
r3r of mid Town,attested by the Clerk thereof,under the seal
of the Town,and countersined by the Town Treasurer,and has likewise
caused the coupons hereto attached to be si’ned by the fac—simile
signature of rai’_Tu,surcr as of this first ci’of june,A.D.1913.
