AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNE)ATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ETES ?ARK COLORADO TO
BE KNOWN AS ACACIA ACRES ADDITION TO THE T(YN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO”.
Section 1.Be it Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estee Park,Colorado that a petition for annexation,together with four copies
of a plat of the territory to be annexed as required by law was filed with the
Board of Trustees of the Town of Estee Park on the 9th day of May,1960 which
petition was filed by persons who represent themselves to be the owners of more
than 50%of the area of the territory hereinafter described and which persons
also comprise a majority of the land owners residing in the territory at the time
the petition was filed with the Board of Trustees;
That the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on the 9th day of
May,1960 accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice as required
by law;
That more than 30 days have elapsed after first publication of said
notice and no counter petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado
of the following described territory to be known and designated as “Acacia Acres
Addition to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado”is hereby annexed to the Town of
Estee Park,Colorado and which territory is described as follows;to—wit:
Beginning at the south 1/4 corner of Section 31,T.5 N.,R.
72 W;thence north 0°48’W.410 feet;thence north 76°39’W.
792 feet to the South right—of-way of State Highway #7 (South
St.Vram Highway);thence South 38°55’West along said right—
of—way 750 feet to a point on the South line of Section 31;
thence South 89°27’East along said South line of Section 31,
1248 feet to the point of beginning;
Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines,and
designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace,health,and safety and whereas in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees an emergency exists and that this Ordinance shail take effect and be in
force immediately after its passage and adoption.
