AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE TCYN OF EL3TES PARK,COLORADO TO
BE KNO’WN A3”LON±PINE ACRES ADDITION TO THE TCWN
OF EST S PARK,COLORADO”.
Section 1.Be it Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estee Park,Colorado that a petition for annexation,together with four copies
of a plat of the territory to be annexed as required by law was filed with the
3oard of Trustees of the Town of Estee Park on the Uth day of April,1960
which petition was filed bj persons who represent themselves to be the owners
of more than 50%of the area of the territory hereinafter described and which
persons also comprise a majority of the land owners residing in the territory
at the time the petition was filed with the Board of Trustees;
That the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on the 11th day of
April,1960 accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice as
required by law;
That more than 30 days have elapsed after first publication of said
notice and no counter petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado
of the following described territory to be known and designated as “Lone Pine
Acres Addition to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado”is hereby annexed to the
Town of istes Park,Colorado and which territory is described as follows;to—wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the Test line of Section
20 T.5 N.,R.72 W.of the 6th P.M.Larimer County,Colorado
and the Northerly right—of—way line of U.S.Higlwiay No.34 as
now constructed;thence 3.59°53’E.along said Northerly
line 1,521 feet to a point of intersection with the Westerly
right—of—way line of a County road whence the intersection
of the North right—of—way line of said U.S.Highway No.34
and the South line of said Section 20 bears 3.590 53’E.a
distance of 224.9 feet;thence N.12°21’W.along esterly
right—of—way of said County road 274.3 feet;thence N.13°
25’E.along said ri’ht—of—way 362 feet;thence N.59°53’
1192 feet;thence N.°52’W.310 feet to a point on
the T-est line of said Section 20;thence 3,.010 Oft’W,
along said Iest line 461.3 feet to the point of beginning,
Section 3.That the Board cI’Trustees herewith finds,determines,and
designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace,health,and safety and whereas in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees an emergency exists and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force immediately after its passage and adoption.
