AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.185 PASSED AND
ADOPTED ON THE 28TH DAY OF JULY,1958,AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO.194 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 11TH DAY
OF MAY,1959,ZONING THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado:
Section 1.That Ordinance No.185 of the Ordinances of
the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,passed and adopted on the 28th
day of July,1958,as amended by Ordinance No.194 of the Ordinances
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,passed and adopted on the 11th
day of May,1959,and entitled “An Ordinance Zoning the Town of Estes
Park,Colorado,and Repealing Ordinances No.168,169,171,and 179,
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,”be and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
That Section 4 of said Ordinance,entitled Supplementary
Regulations,describing and pertaining to “signs”,and relating to
the permit fee for such signs,be and the same is hereby amended in
the following respects:
(a)“The permit fee for each sign shall be $2.00.”Shall
be deleted from said Ordinance.
(b)The permit fee for any electrical,neon-type,or
illuminated sign,with the illumination therefor coming either from
the sign itself or by external lights,shall be $1.00 for each square
foot of the total outside dimensions of one side of the sign with a
minimum fee of $5.00 for any such electrical,neon-type,or illuminated
sign.
(c)The permit fee of any type of sign other than an electri
cal,neon-type,or illuminated sign,shall be $2.00.
Section 2.Except as amended hereby,the provisions of
Ordinance No.185 passed and adopted on July 28,1958,as amended by
Ordinance No.194 passed and adopted on May 11,1959,shall remain
in full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May,1960.
