AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO TO
BE KNOWN AS “FIRST ADDITION TO LONE PINE ACRES
ADDITION TO THE TCYN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO”.
Section 1.Be it Ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town
of Estes Park,Colorado that a petition for annexation,together with four
copies of a plat of the territory to be annexed as required by law was filed
with the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park on the 13th day of June,
1960 which petition was filed by persons who represent themselves to be the
owners of more than 50%of the area of the territory hereinafter described
and which persons also comprise a majority of the land owners residing in
the territory at the time the petition was filed with the Board of Trustees;
That the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on the 13th day
of June,1960 accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice as
required by law;
That more than 30 days have elapsed after first publication of said
notice and no counter petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado
of the following described territory to be known and designated as “First
Addition to Lone Pine Acres Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado”
is herebr annexed to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado and wlikh territory is
described as follows;to—wit:
Beginning at the N1 Corner of Lot 3,Block 1 of the Lone Pine
Acres Addition to the Town of Estes Park ,Colorado,said
point being on the West line of Section 20,T 5 N.,R.72 W.
of the 6th P.M.Larimer County Colorado whence the W Cor.of
said Sec.20 bears N,010 Q’E.a distance of 1358 feet;
thence N.010 08’E,1358 feet to the W Cor.of said Section
20;thence S.89°t4.6 B,along the East and West Center line
of said Section 20 1767.4 feet to the West right—of—way line
of a County road;thence S.01°48’W.along said right—of—way
59 feet;thence 5.13°25’W.along said right—of—way 1949.8
feet thence N.590 53’1.1192;thence N.88°52’W.310 feet
to the point of beginning.
Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines,
and designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace,health,and safety and whereas in the opinion of the Board
of Trustees an emergency exists and that this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force immediately after its passage and adoption.
