AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNATIOK Of
CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TCN OF ET PARK,
COLORADO TO BE KNCMN AS “UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS
ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF EST PARK”.
Section 1.Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estee Park,Colorado that a petition for annexation,together with four copies
of a plat of the territory to be annexed as required by law was filed with the
Board of Trustees of the Town of Estee park on the Uth day of Apri),1960,
which petition was filed by persons who represent themselves to be the owners
of more than 5O of the area of the territory hereinafter described and which
persons also comprise a majority of the land owners residing in the territory
at the time the petition was filed with the Board of Trustees;
That the Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on the 11th day of
April,1960 accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice as
required by law;
That more than 30 days have elapsed after first publication of said
notice and no counter petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado
of the following described territory to be known and designated as “University
Heights Addition to the Town of Estee Park,Coloradot is hereby annexed to the
Town of Estee Park,Colorado and which territory is described as foilows:to wit:
University Heights,a subdivision of a portion of Section 30,
Township 5 North,Range 72 West of the 6th Principal Meridian,
as shown by the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book £,page 10,
Larimer County,Colorado,records.
Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines,and
designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the imnediate preservation of
the public peace,health,and safety and whereas in the opinion of the Board of
Trustees an emergency exists and that this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
Vzrce immediately after its passage and adoption.
Passed and adopted this 23rd day of May,1960.
