AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.133 OF THE ORDINANCES
OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,ENTITLED HAN ORDPTNCE
REGULATING TI-fE TRANSPORTATION OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
WITHIN THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO;PROVIDING
REGULATIONS AS TO THE EQUIPMENT OF VEHICLES USED FOR
THE PURPOSE OF TRANSPORTING FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS;PRO
HIBITING DELIVERY TO RETAIL FUEL STATIONS OF FLAMMABLE
LIQUIDS IN ANY VEHICLE HAVING A TANK CAPACITY GREATER
THAN 1500 GALLONS;PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLA
TION HEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
That Section 3 of Ordinance No.133 of the ordinances
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,passed and adopted on the
10th day of December,1951,be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
‘Section 3.TANK CAPACITY OF RETAIL DELIVERY VEHICLE.
No retail delivery vehicle shall make delivery of flammable
liquids within the fire limits of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,as set forth in Ordinance No.111 of the ordinances
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,adopted on the 27th day
of January,l947,if such vehicle shall have a total tank
capacity in excess of 1500 gallons.”
That except as amended hereby,all of the provisions
of Ordinance No.133 shall remain in full force and effect,
including subsections (a)to (k),both inclusive,of Section 3.
It is hereby declared that this ordinance is necessary
for the immediate protection and preservation of the public health,
safety,convenience and general welfare.
