AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITOBI TO THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK COLORADO TO BE KNCWN AND DESIGNATED AS
“ST •AR’ADDIT ION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That a petition for annexation,together with four
copies of a plat of the territory to be annexed,as required by law,
was filed with the board of Trustees of The Town of Estee Park,on
the 28th day of October,1957,which petition was signed by two
persons,who are the owners of more than fifty per—oent of the area
of the territory hereinafter described,and which persons also comprise
a majority of the land owners residing in that territory at the time
the petition was filed with the Board of Trustees;that the Board of
Trustees at its regular meeting on the 28th day of October,1957,
accepted said petition and caused to be published a notice as required
by law;that more than thirty days have eliapsed after the first
publication of said notice,and no counter—petition has been filed.
Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estee Park,Colorado,
of the following described territory,to be known and designated as
H5j•Bartholomew’s Addition to the Town of Estee Park”is hereby
approved and the same is hereby annexed to the Town of Estee Park,
Colorado,and which territory is described as follows,to wit:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 24,Township 5 North,Range 73 West of the
6th P.M.,Whence the Northwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter
bears North 00 16’Fast a distance of 40 feet and the Southeast
Corner of the Mount View Park Addition to the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado,bears South Q0 16’West a distance of 635.1 feet;thence
South 89°58’East 114.5 feet,thence North 720 31’East 296.8
feet,thence South 150 52’East 96.85 feet,South 76°38’West
26.54 feet,thence South 51°56’West 85.66 feet,thence South
70 3%East 49.6 feet to the North line of the land formerly con
veyed to Dorothy S.Stacey he deed recorded in Book No.577 at
Page 521 of the Larimer County Recorder’s Office,thence along
said line South 850 06’West 339.2 feet to the west line of the
Southeast uarter of said Section 2%,Thence along said est line
North 0°16’East 141.1 feet to the point of beginning.Subject
to a rightof—way for McGregor Lane across the West end of above
described tract.
Section 3.That the Board of Trustees herewith finds,determines
and designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,health and safety,and hwereas in
the opinion of the Boe.rd of Trustees,and emergency exists,and that
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately after its
passage and adoption.
