AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE STREETS DEDICATED
TO PUBLIC USE IN PEAK VIEW,A RE-SUBDIVISION
OF LOT 1 OF DANNELS ADDITION TO THE TOWS OF
ESTES PARK,COLORADO,BEING A SUBDIVISION OF
PART OF THE SW*OF THE SW OF SECTION 31,
TOWThTSHIP 5 NORTH,RANGE 72 WEST OF THE 6TH
P.M.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOIrEN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That all of the streets as shown on the
plat of Peak View,a Re-Subdivision of Lot 1 of Dannels
Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,being a Sub
division of part of the SW*of the SW*of Section 31,
Township 5 North,Range 72 West of the 6th P.M.,recorded
March 3,1961,Reception No.79)858 in the records in the
office of the Clerk and Recorder of Larimer County,Colorado
and contained within the following described property,to-wit:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Section 31,
T.5 N.,R.72 W.of the 6th P.M.,Larimer County,
Colorado;thence N.Ol0OIT 301?W.along the West
line of said Sec.31,766.3 feet to a point on
the South right-of-way line of a U.S.Government
Road;thence N.8o°oL1 E.along said South right-
of-way 512.3 feet;thence on a curve to the left
the radius of which is L13.O feet a distance of
285 feet;thence N.L1O°5Lj E.316.3 feet;thence
on a curve to the right the radius of which is
150.8 feet a distance of 129.1 feet;thence S.
89°201 E.258.1 feet to a point on the East line
of the SW*SW*of said Sec.31;thence S.000511
E.along said East line 1,266.9 feet to a point
on the North right-of-way line of State Highway No.
7 (South St.Vram),thence S.38°551 E.along said
North right-of-way 28.75 feet to the intersection
of said North right-of-way line and the South line
of said Sec.31;thence N.89°3L’W.along said South
line 1339.1 feet to the point of beginning;
be and the same are hereby vacated.
Section 2.The Town Board herewith finds,determines
and declares that said streets are not needed for ingress or
egress to and from any property adjacent thereto and that the
convenience of the people will not be affected or impaired
by vacating said streets,and that the owners of the land
abutting on said streets have requested the Town Board to
vacate the same.
Section 3.The Town Board herewith finds,determines
and designates that this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety,
and whereas in the opinion of the Board of Trustees of the
Town of Estes Park an emergency exists,this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force five (5)days after its final
passage,adoption and publication.
