AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.6 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESIES PARK,
COLORADO,THE $AJYIE PERTAINING TO DOG LICENSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSThES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARE,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 18.6 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado be and the same is
hereby amended to read:
18.6 Dogs Licensed.It shall be unlawful for any
person to keep any dog within the Town of Estes Park without
obtaining a license therefor from the Town Clerk and without
having such dog innoculated with a vaccine approved by the
State Department of Public Health for use in the prevention
of rabies.Such licenses shall be obtained prior to May 1st
of each year and they shall expire on the 31st day of
December of the year for which they are issued.All unexpired
licenses issued prior to the effective date of this ordinance
shall expire on December 31,1966.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees herewith finds,
determines and designates that this ordinance is necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health
and safety,and whereas in the opinion of the Board an
emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five ()days after its final passage,adoption
and publication.
