PuBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado did,on
March 28,1966,pass on first reading Ordinance No.296 ,
which enacts and adopts by reference the National Electrical
Code,1965 Edition.
The National Electrical Code,1965 Edition,NFPA
No.70;ASA Cl-1965,issued by the National Fire Protection
Association of 60 Batterymarch Street,Boston,Massachusetts
02110 is a Code which covers the electrical conductors and
equipment installed within or on public and private buildings
and other premises,including yards,carnival and parking
lots,and industrial substations,and also the conductors that
connect the installations to a supply of electricity,and
other outside conductors adjacent to the premises,and also
mobile homes and travel trailers.The purpose of said Code
is the practical safeguarding of persons and of buildings
and their contents from the hazards arising from the use of
electricity for light,heat,power,radio,signalling and
for other purposes.This Code covers both new and existing
construction.
Copies of the National Electrical Code,1965 Edition,
are on file in the office of the Town Clerk and are open to
public inspection at that place.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of
Trustees has scheduled a public hearing on the question of
whether such Code should be adopted,such hearing to be
held at 7:30 otclock P.M.on Monday,April 25,1966,at the
Town Hall in Estes Park,Colorado.Any and all persons
interested may appear at said time and place and present
their views concerning the adoption of this Code.
