HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 351-68...--‘—-S- ORDINANCE NO.351 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGIN ING ON THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY,1969,AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER,1969;ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAX LEVY BASED ON THE SAID BUDGET SO ADOPTED;ESTI MATING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO BE DERIVED FROM OTHER REVENUE SOURCES;AND SETTING FORTH THE TOTAL ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR EACH FUND. WHEREAS,the Town Clerk designated to prepare the annual budget for Estes Park,Colorado,for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1969, and ending December 31,1969,has prepared said budget and submitted it to the Board of Trustees,and WHEREAS,the Board of Trustees held a public hearing on said budget on September 23,1968, AND WHEREAS,the assessed valuation of taxable property for the year 1968 in the Town of Estes Park,as returned by the County Assessor of Larimer County,Colorado,is the sum of $6,189,490.00. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: Section 1.That the estimated revenue for the various funds of the Town of Estes Park is: General Fund From unappropriated funds $51,170.00 From property taxes 53,499.00 From other revenue sources 240,970.00 Total General Fund $345,639.00 Light and Power Fund From unappropriated funds $226,082.00 From other revenue sources 544,000.00 Total Light and Power Fund $770,082.00 Public Library $39,290.00 Section 2.That the estimated expenditures for each fund of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,are as follows: General Fund $345,639.00 Light and Power Fund 770,082.00 Public Library 39,290.00 Section 3.That the budget for the Town of Estes Park,Colorado, for the fiscal year beginning January 1,1969,and ending December 31, 1969,as heretofore submitted to the Board of Trustees by the Town Clerk,and as changed and ametxled by said Board of Trustees be,and the same hereby is adopted and approved as the budget for the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,for said fiscal year. ORDINANCE NO.351 (Continued) Section 4.The Board of Trustees herewith find,determines,and designates that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety,and whereas an emergency exists, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its final passage,adoption and publication. Town Estes,,ai; Dale G.Hill Town Clerk PROOF OF PUBLICATtON STATE OF COLORADO COUNTY OF LARIMER being duly sworn,deposes and says: 1:That he is the publisher of the Estes ParkTrail,a weekly newspaper printed and published intheTownofEstesPark,County of Larimer and State of Colorado. 2.Thi’t the said Estes Park Trail is printed andpublishedatregularintervals,one time each week,on Friday.and that it has a general circulation intheCountyofLarimer,and elsewhere. 3.That the said Estes Park Trail was established and has been printed and published in said County uninterruptedly and continuously during a periodofatleastfifty-two consecutive weeks next priortothefirstissuethereofcontainingsaid Ordinance #350 a copy of which is hereunto attached. 4.That the said Estes Park Trail is a weekly newspaper of general circulation,and is printed and published in whole or part in the said Town of Estes Park and County of Larimer in which said Ordinance #350 5.That the said Estes Park Trail is a weekly newspaper within the meaning of “An Act Con cerning Legal Notices,Advertisements and Publi cations and Fees of Printers and Publishers There of and to Repeal all Acts and Parts of Acts in Con flict with the Provisions of this Act,”being Chap ter 139 of the Session Laws of Colorado of 1923 as amended by Chapter 113 of the Session Laws of Colorado of 1931.The act amended and repealed by Chapter 139 of the Session Laws of Colorado of 1923 is Chapter 169 of the Session Laws of the State of Colorado of 1921,the same being sections 5392 to 5400,both inclusive,of the Compiled Laws of the State of Colorado of 1921. 6.That the said annexed was published in the regular and entire edition of the Estes Park Trail,a duly qualified weekly news paper for that purpose,within the terms and mean ings of the above named acts. 7.That the said annexed Ordinance #359 is a full,true and correct copy of the original which was regularly published in each of the regu lar and entire issues of said newspaper,a legally qualified paper for that purpose,once each week, on the same day of each week for successive 1weeksby insertions and that the first AN ,OBDlNM1C A ENDil,SECTION 12.4 OF THE MLNICIPAL CORE OF.TIlE ‘TpWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO,RELNG )ZONING DISTRICTS AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: Section 1.That Section 12.4-1 X of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado be and the same is hereby amended to read: X.All of Dekker Addition Except Majestic Pines SubdivISion. Section 2.That Section 12.4-7 of the Municipal Code of the town of Estes Park,Colorado be and the same is hereby imended by adding hereto the following: B.Majestic Pines Subdivision,a part of Dekker Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado. Section 3.That Section 12.4-5 1 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado be and the same is hereby amended to read: I.The following Lots within First Addition to Lone Pine Acres Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado: Lots 1,2 and 3 of Block 4 and Lots 1 and 2 of Block 8. Section 4.That Section 12.4-2 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: P.Block 3 and Lots 1,2,3,4 and 5 of Block 5 of First Addition to the Lone Pine Acres Addition to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado. Section 5.That Section 4 of Ordinance No.327 of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado is repealed and reenacted as follows: That Section 12.4-4 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,is amended by adding thereto the following: 0.All of Rock Acres Addition to the Town of EsteS Park, Colorado,except the West 100 feet thereof. Section 6.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park herewith finds,determines and designates that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety,for the regulation ‘of zoning affects the public health and safety,and whereas in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its final passage,adoption and publication.
