ORDINANCE NO.386
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.3 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ES[S PARK,
COLORADO,RELATING TO ThE POLICE COURT AND
COMPENSATION OF POLICE MAGISTRATE AND COURT
CLERK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 9.3 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado be and the same is hereby
amended to read:
9.3 Compensation of Police Magistrate and Court
Clerk.The police magistrate shall receive as full compen
sation for his services a salary of $3,OO.OO per year,and
the Clerk of the Police Magistrate Court shall receive as
full compensation for his services a salary of $1,000.00 per
ye a r.
Section 2.That the provisions of Section 1 of this
Ordinance shall be effective on January 1,1970.
Section 3.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park herewith finds,determines and designates that this ordi
nance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace,health and safety,for the administration of the Munic
ipal Court affects the public peace,health and safety,and
whereas in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency
exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
()days after its final passage,adoption and publication.
