AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.1 OF ThE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF TRE TOIN OF ESTES PARK5
COLORADO,RELATING TO BUILDINGS AND THE
UNIFORM BUILDING CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF ThE
TOTN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 11.1 of the Municipal Code
of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado is amended by adding
thereto the following:
All unsafe buildings as defined in said building
code,existing in the Town are hereby declared to be public
nuisances and shall be abated by repair,rehabilitation,
demolition or removal as provided by law.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and desig
nates that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,health and safety for
unsafe buildings affect the public peace,health and safety,
and whereas in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an
emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5)days after its final passage,adoption
and publication.
