HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE 07-72ORDINANCE NO.7 7Z AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AMJEXA.TION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS ONE THOUSAND PINES ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO: Section 1.That a Petition for Annexation,together with four copies of a Plat of said territory as required by law,was filed with the Board of Trustees on cEn6Jj’1 1971,by the owners of one hundred per cent (100%)of the area of the territory hereinafter described.The Board of /Trustees,by Resolution at its regular meeting on January 1, 1972,accepted said Petition and found and determined that the applicable parts of Sections 3 and 4 of “The Municipal Annexation Act of 1965”have been met and further determined that an election was not required under Section 6 (2)of “The Municipal Annexation Act of 1965”and further found that no additional terms and conditions were to be imposed upon said annexation except those set out on said Petition. Section 2.That the annexation to the Town of Estes Park of the following described territory,to be known and designated as One Thousand Pines Addition to the Town of Estes Park is hereby approved: Beginning at the NW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 51,Township 5 North, Range 72 West of the 6th P.M.,which corner is also the SW corner of Village Acres Addition to the Town of Estes Park and is marked by a brass bolt,thence along the 1/16 section line S 88°58’E.1156.0 feet,thence S 06°28’W. 649.5 feet,thence S 89°O7’E.246.7 feet, thence S OO0%8 W.249.9 feet,thence N 89°O7’W.1528.6 feet,thence N 00016?W. 906.1 feet to the point of beginning. Section 5.The Board of Trustees herewith finds, determines and designates that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,health and safety,and whereas in the opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after its final passage, adoption and publication. ;1:21 Mayor Town Clerk Publish: January 14,1972 —2—
