ORDINANCE NO.34-72
AN ORDINANCE A1VIENDING SECTION 17.15 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,
COLORADO,RELATING TO OBSCENE PUBLICATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That Section 17.15 of the Municipal Code
of the Town.of Estes Park,Colorado,is amended to read as
follows:
17.15 Obscene Publications.It shall be unlawful
for any person to sell,give away,or exhibit obscene
publications,prints,pictures or illustrations.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace,health and safety,for obscene publications
affect the public peace,health and safety,and whereas in the
opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists,this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days after
its final passage,adoption and publication.
