ORDINANCE NO.32 -72
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A RIGHT OF ENTRY
TO AUTHORIZED PUBLIC INSPECTORS OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,FOR THE
INSPECTION OF BUILDINGS AND PREMISES,
FOR THE ENFORCEHENT OF THE PROVISIONS
OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES
PARK,COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Whenever necessary to make an
inspection to enforce any ordinance,or whenever there
is probable cause to believe that there exists an
ordinance violation in any building or upon any premises
within the jurisdiction of the Town,any public inspector
of the Town of Estes Perk,may,upon presentation of proper
credentials,and upon obtaining permission of the occupant
or if unoccupied the owner,enter such building or premises
at all reasonable times to inspect the same or to perform
any duty imposed upon him by ordinance.In the event the
occupant,or if unoccupied the owner,refuses entry to such
building or premises,or the public inspector is unable to
obtain permission of such occupant or owner to enter such
building or premises,he is hereby empowered to seek
assistance from any court of competent jurisdiction in
obtaining such entry.The provisions of this section shall
not be construed to require the issuance of an ordinance
for emergency inspections,or in any case where warrants
are not presently required by law.
Section 2.The Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and
designates that this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,health and
safety,for the inspection of buildings and premises affects
the public peace,health and safety,and whereas in the

opinion of the Board of Trustees an emergency exists,this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)days
after its final passage,adoption and publication.
