13.12.090 C OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO,RELATING TO
LIGHT AND POWER RATE SCHEDULES CONTAINING
CHARGES FOR THE SERVICE OF ELECTRIC POWER
AND ENERGY BY THE LIGHT AND POWER DEPART
MENT OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.Sections 13.12.010,13.12.020 C,13.12.
030 C,13.12.040 C,13.12.050 C and D,13.12.060 C and D,
13.12.070 B and D,13.12.080 C and D,and 13.12.090 C of the
Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,are
amended to read as follows:
13.12.010 Generally.The schedules of rates set
forth in this chapter for the service of electric energy in
the Estes Park service territory shall remain in effect until
repealed or amended.
13.12.020 C.Rate:
The first 30 kwh per month $2.38
The next 20 kwh per month,
per kwh at .079
The next 50 kwh per month,
per kwh at .052
The next 200 kwh per month,
per kwh at -.027
All additional kwh used per
month,per kwh at .0212
Minimum -Net minimum charge
per meter per month 2.38
13.12.030 C.Rate:
The first 30 kwh per month $2.38
The next 20 kwh per month,

13.12.050 C.Rate:For all energy used between meter
readings taken on or about May 20th and September 20th,the
rate shall be:
First 22 kwh used per month----$2.58
The next 78 kwh used per

The next 100 kwh used per

The next 800 kwh used per
month,per kwh at .061
The next 1500 kwh used per
month,per kwh at .045
The next 2500 kwh used per

All contracts under this schedule shall
be for a minimum period of three months and thereafter until
terminated,where service is no longer required,on thirty
days’notice.
All rates and contracts shall be subject
to special provisions of extension policy.
13.12.080 C.Rate:
The first 100 kwh per month

13.12.090 C.Rate:(net)

Section 2.The board of trustees of the town of Estes
Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and designates that
this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace,health and safety,for electric rates affect
the public peace,health and safety;and whereas,in the opin
ion of the board of trustees,an emergency exists,this ordi
nance shall take effect and be in force as of the first electric
billing period commencing after April 1,1976,and after its
final passage,adoption and the approval and signature of the
mayor.
