ORDINANCE NO.3-76
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF MORGAN
STREET LYING SOUTH OF LOT 27,BONNIE BRAE
ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK,COLO
RADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN
OF ESTES PARK,COLORADO:
Section 1.That the following described portion of
Morgan Street,lying South of Lot 27,Bonnie Brae Addition
to the Town of Estes Park,Colorado:
All that portion of Morgan Street that
lies North of the following described
line:Beginning at a point that is
North 08°52’West 5.08 feet from the
Southeast corner of Lot 27,Bonnie Brae
Addition to the Town of Estes Park;
thence North 87°17’West parallel to
and 35 feet North of the South line of
Morgan Street a distance of 107.0 feet;
thence North 85°33’West 68.68 feet to
the Southwest corner of said Lot 27;
be and the same is hereby vacated.
Section 2.The board of trustees of the town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and de
clares that said portion of said street is not needed for
ingress or egress to or from any property adjacent thereto;
that the convenience of the people will not in any way be
affected or impaired by vacating said portion of said street;
and that the owner of the land abutting on said portion of
said street has duly requested the board of trustees to
vacate the same.
Section 3.The board of trustees of the town of
Estes Park,Colorado,herewith finds,determines and desig
nates that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace,health and safety,for
the vacation of streets affects the public peace,health
and safety;and whereas,in the opinion of the board of
trustees,an emergency exists,this ordinance shall take
effect and be in force after its final passage,adoption
0 0
and the approval and signature of the mayor.
PASSED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND SIGNED THIS
27th DAY OF January ,1976.
